Putting faces behind the name Ivey Homes, meet Matt Ivey. Known around the Ivey office as a fearless leader, he always has a smile to give and an encouraging quote to share with the team. He also likes to talk about anything real estate and strategy for the company always encouraging the team to improve processes and find ways to make the Ivey customer experience better. 

Some say he's the smartest person they know...like me! (btw this Caroline) I've known Matt going on 17 years and he is the reason I'm here at Ivey today. I've personally witnessed his care for his community and the work he does to bring beautiful homes to the families of the Augusta River Region. He takes great pride in building homes and creating communities that generations of people will call home... wow, what a legacy! ... and he's just a good guy. 

Just the Matt Facts:

Matt has construction experience dating back to 1984, when his father, Jake, started building homes. Matt has a finance degree from the University of Georgia...and yes, he's a big dawgs fan, and a Master of Science in Real Estate degree from Georgia State. Matt worked in property management, real estate acquisition, and structured finance divisions of a multi-billion dollar company rising to the level of VP. In 2004, Matt and his brother Mark, joined forces to start Ivey Residential, also known as Ivey Homes. 

Matt leads the company’s business development, financing, product development, sales and marketing teams. Matt is involved with many local and charitable organizations that contribute to the betterment of the community. Matt feels being involved in the community is an important part of the Ivey culture.
