If you ask most Ivey homes employees what their favorite day of the year is, most of them would say the annual fish fry! Held the first Wednesday in December, the annual event is a time for Ivey to give back and say a heartfelt thank you to every Trade Partner, supporter and friend that helps us build a better home. We understand we can't do it alone, building our homes takes many hands and we are grateful for every single person involved. 

There is some debate on the actual year the fish fry tradition began, but Jake Ivey, Matt and Mark's father started the fish fry in the early 2000s (it is thought). Every year it gets bigger and better. This year over 600 people came through Warren Baptist Church's Grovetown location for a fish dinner with all the yummy sides and desserts!

We also have a little fun and with the help of our vendors we collected and gave away more than $4,000 in gift cards and raffled off the famous Ivey "bucket of bling" raising over $2,000 for the local Builder Community Fund that helps fund scholarships for local students interested in construction and homebuilding.
