Summer Bucket List

Categories: Blog, Home Ownership, Local Events, Tips | Posted: June 26, 2019

Summer means longer days, kids out of school, water activities, and so much more! Here are some things to add to your Summer Bucket List:

  • Start a Garden – It doesn’t take a professional or even a large backyard to grow your own private stash of delicious fruits and vegetables. Set aside a little area to plant some tomatoes, blueberries, zucchini or whatever else will make the perfect compliment to your next cookout. Gardens are easy and fun to maintain, and you’ll definitely enjoy the fruits of your labor.
  • Turn your backyard into an oasis – Add string lights, a fire pit, patio furniture, a grill, whatever makes you want to hang out in the backyard.
  • Hang a tree swing or a hammock – No play set for the kids?  No problem.  Add a fun tree swing to an overhanging branch so they have a place to play without cluttering the yard.  Or if a nice, relaxing space is more what you’re going for, set up a hammock for mom and dad to enjoy.
  • Find a water activity you enjoy – whether it’s kayaking, water skiing, tubing, fishing, boating or swimming, the CSRA offers several different options to keep you cool during our warm summer months
  • Discover your town’s past – The CSRA offers several different museums to visit and learn a thing or two about our area. Another perk about these museums – they offer air conditioning!
  • Host a party – Whether it’s grilling out, swimming in the pool or having a movie night, bringing your loved ones together is always a fun time! Host a star gazing party, watch a movie you didn’t have time to see in theaters, grill some fruit that is just right during this time of year – the possibilities are endless.
  • Finally take the leap to move – Purchasing a home is a big decision and we understand that it takes time to come to that decision. When you are ready our Sales Team is here to help you find the home you are looking for.
