The cold dreary days of Winter are over and it is officially Spring! The warmer weather, shining sun, and pops of color are the perfect motivation to give your home a “Spring Makeover!” While the change of season is always an instant mood boost – we’ve gathered a few tips to help you really get into the Spring spirit. Continue reading for our tips on how to get your home ready for Spring.

• Pops of Color – One thing that Springtime is known for is the bright pops of color in nature. Recreate this in your home with new throw pillows, bright wall décor, colorful accent rugs, cheery table settings, etc.
• Let the Light In – An instant mood boost is seeing the beautiful sunshine on a clear day. Let some light in your home by replacing your current drapes with sheer panel drapes and add a few mirrors near these spaces to reflect light around your home. Another lighting tip is to trade out older lightbulbs that may be yellowing or dimming for bright fluorescent bulbs.
• Beautiful Blooms – Nothing says Spring quite like a rainbow of beautiful blooms. Brighten your home with floral touches throughout – fresh bouquets, floral throws, a floral door wreath, window planters, and don’t forget to add some greenery, too. Planting a few colorful flowers around the exterior of your home will add curb appeal as well.
• Exterior Maintenance – Don’t forget about the outside of your home as well. Spring is the perfect time to buy new or update existing patio furniture, pressure wash your homes’ exterior, freshen up paint, landscape, etc.
• Spring Scents – Our last tip to get you and your home in the Spring spirit is to bring in some light floral or citrus scents – from candles, to room sprays, to scent plug ins, there are so  many ways to liven up your space with a great aroma!
