Mark Ivey Receives the Jack Bowles Award

Categories: Awards, Blog, Meet the Ivey Team, News | Posted: January 10, 2019

Everyone on the Ivey Team that has the pleasure to work with Mark Ivey witnesses and understands his dedication to the homebuilding industry. The prestigious Jack Bowles Award honors just shows that the building community notices his dedication, too.

Ivey Homes Mark IveyMark Ivey was introduced to the homebuilding industry in 1984 when his father, Jake Ivey (also a Jack Bowles Award honoree), start building homes. While the opportunity was there to work for his father after college, Mark and his brother Matt, co-owner of Ivey Homes, felt it was important to establish themselves independently. Mark went on to be Vice President of a statewide engineering firm, while Matt became a Vice President for a multi-national real estate firm. While both brothers experienced success in their respective fields, the entrepreneurial bug they picked up from their father never left them. In 2004, Ivey Homes was formed and has built 1,000+ homes in the Augusta River Region and in recent years have added several multi-family projects to the housing landscape.

Mark continues to work diligently to improve the home building industry not only locally but statewide and nationally.

Congratulations, Mark!
