If you’ve been following Ivey for a while, you know that we are all about giving back and being an active part of our community. When we heard about Paceline and their mission to raise money for cancer research and survivorship, we knew we had to be apart of it. Matt Ivey, being an avid cyclist himself, put together a team to raise money and participate in the Paceline Ride. Most everyone is affected by cancer in some way. At Ivey Homes, just about every one of our employees has a story of how they have been touched by cancer, whether through a friend or family member, or personally – which is why Paceline is near and dear to our hearts. Matt rides in honor of his mother and uncle who are currently battling cancer as well as his two cousins who sadly lost their battle to cancer. The Ivey Team has been training and actively fundraising since early this year. We could use all the support to help fight cancer, be it monetarily, sharing on social media to spread awareness, or by cheering us on as we gear up for the big ride on October 16th!
