Buying Ivey is Easy as Pie!

With Thanksgiving Day later this week, we’ve got delicious pie on our mind – and speaking of pie, do you know how easy the process to buy a new Ivey Home is? We know that buying/building a new home can be daunting so we work hard to make sure the process is as easy and understandable as possible. While we handle all the behind the scenes work such as permitting, construction and quality control, you can expect these simple steps:

  1. Choose you community/location – We currently have communities in Grovetown, Evans, and North Augusta, SC. You can check them out here.
  2. Meet with Community Sales Associate – Each of our communities have a dedicated Sales Agent on duty 7 days a week. You can make an appointment here to visit the model home and speak with a sales agent.
  3. Choose from our inventory homes or pick you floorplan and homesite to build – We always have a selection of inventory homes that are under construction in each neighborhood to choose from. If you’d like to personalize your home a bit more, you can choose the floorplan and homesite instead!
  4. Sign the purchase agreement – This is the contract signed by an Ivey Representative and you agreeing to purchase or build your new home.
  5. Personalize your home at our Design Studio (if you’re building) – You will meet with our designer to choose your colors and verify the selections you made at the time of contract. Our designer will also verify with you any outside appointments required. For example, we use Southern Lighting for our lighting selections. They have the largest selection in Augusta. While you’re making your selections we will be obtaining permits and securing construction financing.
  6. Attend the Homeowner Orientation Tour – Once we get the home complete we will conduct our H.O.O.T with you. That is our Home Owner Orientation Tour. Your Builder will walk you through the home and review all systems with you and list any items that you would like addressed.
  7. Close on your home, move in, and start making memories!

See, as easy as pie! If you’re interested in moving into a new Ivey Home, we’d love to meet with you to explain the process more in depth. Contact us today to set up your appointment!
