Buy Ivey, Build Community | 2nd Quarter Results

Categories: Blog, Social Media | Posted: July 13, 2021

Exciting news! We have wrapped up the 2nd quarter of our 2021 charity campaign, Buy Ivey, Build Community. This year-long campaign allows our homebuyers to select from three local charities where their homes’ $250 donation will be donated. It has been a wonderful way to give back to the community and involve our customers.

The second-quarter total was $17,250! The charities benefiting:

Children’s Hospital of Georgia = $10,250

The 154-bed not-for-profit Children’s Hospital of Georgia is Augusta’s only children’s hospital, providing the highest level of neonatal and pediatric intensive care, as well as a wide range of general and complex healthcare for children. Children’s Hospital of Georgia was recently ranked the highest performing hospital in pediatric quality and safety among more than 100 of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. Children’s is the only facility in the area dedicated exclusively to children. It staffs the largest team of pediatric specialists in the region who deliver out- and in-patient care for everything from common childhood illnesses to life-threatening conditions like heart disorders, cancer, neurological diseases, and more. More than 75,000 kids are treated each year. For more information about the Children’s Hospital of Georgia visit

Folds of Honor = $4000

Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and platinum on GuideStar, which provides educational scholarships to the families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled while on active duty in the United States armed forces. Our educational scholarships support private education tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents. Founded in 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, a PGA Professional and F-16 fighter pilot in the Air Force Reserves who served three tours of duty in Iraq, Folds of Honor is proud to have awarded approximately 24,500 scholarships in all 50 states and some US territories, including over 4,500 in 2019 alone. SafeHomes of Augusta = $3000

As the only domestic violence program in the 10-county East Central Georgia region for more than 35 years, SafeHomes, Inc. has provided thousands of victims of domestic violence with a safe, confidential environment to escape abuse and rebuild their lives. SafeHomes’ mission is to transform victims of domestic violence into survivors through services such as a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups, counseling, workforce development training, life skills and parenting classes, transportation assistance and so much more. In addition, SafeHomes provides community education and training to law enforcement, human resource personnel, community, and civic groups. Lastly, because domestic violence is so often generational, SafeHomes has a Teen Advisory Board and programs specific to providing education about dating violence to youth. All services are completely free and confidential. For more information about SafeHomes visit
